The concept of The 100 began in 1963 when a group of concerned African American men began meeting in New York City to improve community conditions.  Since its inception, the vision of The 100 has been shared by more than 10,000 members and  reached 125,000+ underserved/underrepresented minority youth each year.  Their motto, “What They See Is What They’ll Be,” expresses how their services to disadvantaged, disenfranchised and low-income families positively changes their life trajectory.
